We are a group RPing Dresden Files characters (property of Jim Butcher) on Tumblr. We have “askblogs” (Blogs where we invite people to ask questions, and we answer them in character as the characters we portray. We also have some in-character interaction with one another.

Common RP Lingo:

OOC: Out of Character. When someone is speaking as themselves rather than their character. If a post says OOC in the title, or a block of text has OOC in front of it, its this. Tags are also sometimes OOC. Most of the time OOC is also denotated by ((double parenthesis)) or [brackets] to indicate such.

IC: In character. This is the default for anything we say on our character blogs. So if Nicodemus is being creepy or Kincaidis a douchebag., don’t take it personally—they’re just being IC.
